This how Good wife behave

DO WE STILL HAVE WOMEN LIKE HER?

Phone Rings
(Wife Picks up)

Wife: Hello Atanda mi .

Husband: Yes Wuraola mi, get ready we going out today.

Wife: Hmm where exactly are we going? Besides am kind of busy today.

Husband: Stop whatever you are doing and prepare yourself for our special date.

Wife: Alright Ife mi.

Husband: Sharp, I will be there in 30 minutes time.

Wife: Ok, bye.

Husband: Cool(he dropped the call)
...............
In 30 minutes time he arrived at home as per promise.

Husband: Anybody home??? (Knock! Knock!).

Wife: (peeps through the window) Ade Ori Okin mi (come in).

Husband: Baby what's wrong with you? You haven't prepared yourself yet?

Wife: Of course, not until you tell me where exactly you are planning on taking me.

Husband: What's the date today?

Wife: 30th of January.

Husband: Great! Today is my pay day besides I got a salary increment, so I want to go and spoil you big time. Now hurry up go and take a quick bath.

Wife: No my love, am going nowhere with you.

Husband: What does that suppose to mean?

Wife: My love, Ade Ori Okin mi ti ki se ti eye keye, Atanda mi.. I know you love me, but that
shouldn't be reason for you to be spending extravagantly on me.

Husband: what is wrong with that? You are my woman,my first love, mother my children and I have all the right to spoil you rotten.

Wife: My love, last time I checked your young brother was chased from school because of unpaid balance. You know you are the only one your family depends on. That house your mother lives in, is in a dilapidated state and it needs to be
renovated.

Husband: (listening attentively)

Wife: Instead of spoiling me, use your salary to support those that entirely depend on you for their well being. To me those people comes first, moreover I don't love you because of your money, I love you for who you are.

Husband: But bae..........

Wife: (cuts in) But bae nothing, now hurry up and go and pay the school fees for your brother and help other in serious need as much as your salary can support. If they will be any amount remaining, you can come and share it
with me. I see a husband in you not a bank account.

Husband: (tears drop) What more can I ask from God? He has blessed me with a wonderful woman.I Love you so so much my wife, you are one in a million. I see a  true and genuine wife in you not a slut or the so called Slay Queens of our generation.

Wife: I love you too my husband. Ife mi.. Ade Ori Okin mi.. Olowo Ori mi...

Husband: Come here(he spread his arms for the hug)They shared a warmth hug...and the Husband sat with the wife to plan how they could spend the money wisely in an effort to help those in genuine need of their help.

Now That's Real Love

The Question is:

DO SUCH WIVES STILL EXIST IN THIS WORLD?.. I leave the men to confirm while we ladies have a rethink...

If you are a woman reading this message, how do you evaluate yourself? What are you doing about becoming a better wife that your husband will constantly desire to consult from even in serious decision making.

Be Patient in Judgement

A couple had been married for several years without a child. For the purpose of companionship, they bought a Rottweiler puppy, named it miley and loved her like a child.

The dog had access to all the rooms in the house. The puppy grew to become a large, beautiful dog and had on several occasions saved the couples from robbery. Miley was always faithful, loyal and defended its owners against many dangers.

Seven years later, the couple was blessed with the long awaited son. They were very happy with their son and naturally decreased the attention they had given to the dog. Miley felt neglected and began to get jealous of the baby.

One day the couple left the baby sleeping peacefully in his cradle and went to the terrace to prepare a roast. They were shocked as they were heading to the nursery and saw miley in the hallway with a bloody mouth, wagging its tail.

The dog's owner thought the worst, they pulled out weapons and began to beat the dog they had loved for many years... after so much beating, they killed the dog... then they rushed to the baby's room, there was blood everywhere and blood dripping from the baby's cot... they slowly walked to the cot and found a beheaded snake very close to the baby.
Miley killed the snake...
Then they realized they had butchered an innocent dog who was faithful to its death...

How often have we misjudged people without finding out facts.
How easy do you give up on those who are faithful to you?
What the heart sees is far greater than what the eye see...
Never judged people by thier looks, present situation and present life style...
Most of us judge people by what we expect them to be... without finding out who they really are...
Not everyone can relate to you exactly what they feel and how they feel about you!!

How I wish miley could talk... she would have expressed her love for her owners

The next time we are tempted to judge and condemn anyone remember the story of a faithful dog, MILEY.

THE STORY OF ADÉGBÖRÒ L'OJA OBA, a Yoruba Adage

ADEGBORO left Ibadan for Lagos in search of greener pasture. He chose to be carrying loads (Alabaru) on his head at Oyingbo market to earn a living.*

Few years after, he bought a cart from his savings and this eased the pain of carrying loads on his head for commercial purposes. The Cart also increased his income and he was able to acquire 6 more of its kind which he rented out to others.

*Exactly 8 years in this cart pushing business, Adegboro bought a van which many called BOLEKAJA and learning how to drive, he handled the business by himself. 4 years into the Bolekaja business, Adegboro had been a proud owner of 6 Vans.*

Being a bona fide Ibadan son, (omo bibi ilu Ibadan) ADEGBORO built a magnificent building at OJA OBA where the Olubadan Palace was situated when it was time to put a roof on his head.

*Many people at this period approached Adegboro to show them the secret behind his success. He simply asked them if they could carry loads on their heads in the market to earn income (alabaru)? And their response had always been "NEVER".*

He too would spontaneously say *"ENI TI O LE SE ALABARU L'OYINGBO, KO LE SE BI ADEGBORO L'OJA OBA"* - this is a replica of the adage also in Yoruba land that says; "ÌSASÙN tabi IKOKO TI YIO J'ATA (OBE), IDI RE A KOKO GBONA". (A pot that wants to consume a palatable soup must have its bottom burnt or heated with fire first).

In Life, to endure is to achieve. No short cut is sustainable. Wealth is built over time in a small bit but in a persistent way!!!!!!
Our children must learn from this true life story. They must shun the get-rich-quick syndrome that's affecting most youths today, many have entered into traps of human traffickers, sold into sex slaves, drugs, prostitution, and what have you, in desperation for get-rich-quick green pastures. Today, many are still being auctioned for sale in LIBYA.

*Sit your children down and teach them the meaning of the popular poem by J.F. Odunjo:*

*ISE NI OOGUN ISE (Work is the antidote for poverty)*

Ise l’ogun ise
(Work is the antidote for poverty)

Mura s’ise ore mi
(Work hard, my friend)

Ise la fi n’deni giga
(Work/Labour is the major tool for elevation)

Bi a ko ba reni feyin ti
(If we do not have anyone to lean on)

Bi ole la’nri
(We appear indolent)

Bi a ko ba reni gbekele
(If we do not have anyone to support us)

A tera mo’se eni
(We simply work harder)

Iya re le lowo lowo
(Your mother might be rich)

Baba re le lesin lekan
(Your father may have a stable full of horses)

Bi o ba gbo’ju lewon
(If you rely on them)

O te tan ni mo so fun o
(You are close to shame and disgrace, I tell you)

Ohun ti a ko ba ji’ya fun,
(Whatever one does not work hard to earn)

Se kii le pe lowo;
(Usually does not last)

Ohun ti a ba fara sise fun,
(Whatever gain one seriously labours for)

Nii pe lowo eni.
(Usually lasts with one)

Apa lara
(Your arm is you relative )

Egunpa niyekan

(your elbow is your sibling)

B’aye ba n’fe o loni
(If the world loves you today)

Bi o ba lowo lowo
(If you have money)

Aye a ma fe o lola
(The world will still love you tomorrow)

Tabi ki o wa ni’po atata
(Or if you are in a prestigious position)

Aye a ma ye o si terin-terin
(The world will celebrate you with smiles)

Je k’o de’ni tin rago
(Wait till you become poor)

Aye a ma yinmu si o
(The world will grimace at you)

Eko si’nso ni d’oga
(Education also elevates one to higher positions)

Mura ki o ko dara dara
(Ensure that you acquire it well)

Bi o si r’opo eniyan
(And if you see a lot of people)

Ti won f’eko s’erin rinrin
(Making mockery of education with laughter)

Dakun ma f’ara we won
(Please do not emulate or keep their company)

Iya n’bo fun’omo ti ko gbon
(Suffering beckons for the unwise child)

Ekun n’be fun’omo to nsa kiri
(Tears are due for the truant child)

Ma f’owuro sere ore mi
(Do not toy with your early years)

Mura si’se ojo’nlo
(Work hard; time waits for no one).

Lack of Trust Destroy Marriage

A wife suspected her husband of having sex with their house maid, then she set a trap for the husband by sending the house maid to the village for weekend without telling the husband.

At night, the husband told his usual story "Darling i want to go and watch wrestling in the sitting room" and he left.

The wife silently went to the house maid's room lying down on the bed naked without any light, and the door was open and someone join her on the bed without wasting time and without a word, he had sex with her.

After the fifth round she said, it's enough, i have caught u, so this is how you use to have sex with her, and you will do two round with me and tell me you are tired; fifth round now you are still demanding for more habi?

The gate man shouted and replied "AM SORRY MADAM I DON'T KNOW YOU ARE THE ONE, NO BE OGA DEY FUCK THE HOUSE MAID O, NA ME"

Madam shouted "EWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!", then the husband rushed in and caught them.

If you are the man or woman, what will you do?

Anyone that judge book by its cover will definitely buy wrong one.
Let learn to be patient, trust and investigate throughly before we judge people.

Moral Lesson:

Trust is one of the keys to happy home. Suspicion could bring disaster in marriage in every ramificationsh.

APC FAIL TO DELIVER THEIR PROMISES

It was very hard for people of Nigeria, petrol was at #87 per litter, our people in North were being killed, shoot and bomb on dialy basis, Internally Display Person number increase to over 300,000  now over 500,000 no physical or meaningful infrastructure; Lagos ibadan express way was a dead trap, Ogbomoso Oyo road can't be left out, Ilorin Niger road, and others with billions approved without no construction, electricity privatized, nearly everywhere blackout,
We cry for help, a slogan "change" become a hope,
Change promised people of Nigeria,
In 29 minutes presentation by Vice President aspirant of APC at Edo town hall meeting during compagn; He analysed all sectors how they would develop the country and take us to promise land.
I was happy and boosted, Nigerians don arrived. To me, professor, just 29 minutes, he solved all Nigeria problems.
But few people benefits, majority are suffering, Price of foods skyrocket with over 💯 increase without increase in salary, #45 was promised but today, it is #145, APC said subsidy is a scam and fraud in 2015 but today, they have paid over 4trillion naira for it. No good road, electricity is not stable. Min for Power, Fasola said in 2014 '" only 6months is required to stabilize Nigeria electricity by a serious government". Please, 3 years now, I don't see the impact. Several institution shutdown for years, worst part of it in Southwest, except Lagos, no development at grassroots/local government as a their governor's failed to conduct local government election for almost 8years.
Boko Haram is still killing, bombing and kidnapping our children, thereby discouraging education in some areas in the North.
Herdsmen killing is another civil war going now as people been killed daily in kogi, benue and some other parts with no proper and feasible action to stop it.
Our government have fail us.
People are not considerate, human being like us, our people been killed and they are saying we should be patient, government is trying, should we wait till they killed all Nigerians?
Obasanjo clear all debts but today, Nigeria domestic loan stand above 12trillion naira, for what project?

Our dear government, enough is enough:
STOP killing,
Revive our economy, redeem our image at international community,
Step down for youths,
It is our Time,
It impossible that only one person is best out of over 180 million people.
All we want is betterment of this country,
All we want is dividend of democracy,
All we want is eradication of poverty,
Good education
Conducive environment
Stable electricity
Good water
Good roads
Good infrastructure

My dear people, let wake up to our task, our efforts and support are required to succeed

Reply to President Buhari speech NIGERIA YOUTHS are too lazy

"Nigerian youths are lazy & uneducated. Always wanting free oil money" ~ PMB

ME: Sir, you are absolutely correct. One of the lazy Nigerian youths who is enjoying free oil money had an accident with the power bike he bought with free oil money not too long ago, and he was flown abroad for treatment with free oil money, then he hired a jet with free oil money from London to Abuja after his treatment.

Sir, I completely agree with you that the Nigerian youths are lazy and uneducated and always wanting free oil money. Their role models are in Aso Rock enjoying free oil money without even solving any problem for the country. When they are ill, they fly abroad for medical vacation with free oil money.

Why would anyone disagree with you that the Nigerian youths are uneducated? It's very obvious. That's why they don't even know their rights. They keep defending your ineptitude.

You enjoyed free education as a young man, but today the youths are deprived of basic education. You were a governor, a petroleum commissioner and ahead of states as a youth, but today, youths are on social media defending your failures.

Honestly, I agree with you that the Nigerian youths are lazy, that's why you ruled Nigeria as a youth and have also grabbed the job as an old man. The youths are too ignorant to even know the implication of your comments. They don't even know you and your fellow old men are doing jobs they should ordinarily be doing.

Sir, the most interesting aspect of this your truth is that you said it in a country where their government provides basic infrastructures, almost free education, free WiFi, free health care, almost free investment loans for their youths. While, in your own country, these lazy and uneducated youths, provide their own electricity, schools, security, roads, healthcare etc.. Yet, the indolent youths use their "free oil money" to buy mobile data to defend your ineptitude.

Sir, let me remind you that we have seen so many Nigerian youths who were almost useless in Nigeria, but when they cross over to the western world, they suddenly begin to excel in different fields of endeavor. What do you think is responsible for their positive output in the foreign land? Your guess is as good as mine, Sir- The difference is not farfetched. A responsible government plan for their youths and create enabling environment for the youths to be able to create wealth and contribute to National development. Can we say the same of your own country? Certainly Not! Instead, we have lazy, uneducated youths who would hang on telecommunication masts and electric cables to shout SAI BABA when you visit their states. I only wish they knew better.

Sir, Finally, let me ask you, Sir, apart from the free oil money we have been paying you since your days as a youth till date, what have you been able to make out for yourself on your own? Do you have thriving businesses that are providing employment for the Nigerian youths? Have you invented anything on your own? Sir, you can now see that this free oil money is what has kept you going for over 50 years. Perhaps this laziness is not limited to the youths alone, I guess some 75-year-old incompetent presidents are also lazy and love free oil money, that's why they want to remain in power till they are 80 years old. If we take away the free oil money we have been paying you and audit your life, are you sure you will have any worth, Sir?

Who Actually looted Nigeria

WHO ACTUALLY LOOTED NIGERIA FOR 16 YEARS?

Out of 24 APC governors today, 22 of them were members of the PDP that ruled for 16 years.

As if that is not enough 20 former PDP governors are now in APC and many of them with corruption cases, but PMB's corruption fight "no reach their side."

Do you also know that:
1. The first and current APC Senate President was in PDP?

2. The first APC Speaker of the  House of Representatives was also in PDP?

3. Three out of five former Speakers of the House of Representatives under PDP are now in APC?

3. A former PDP senate president is also in APC?

4. Two former national Chairmen of PDP are also now in APC?

5. Thousands of current APC  legislators at both state and national levels were in PDP?

6. Hundreds of  current APC ministers and commissioners today were in PDP?

7. Thousands of other former PDP leaders and members including former ministers,  legislators, commissioners, etc are now in APC?

Now who are the PDP members that APC keeps referring to that looted the nation's treasury for sixteen years?

Current APC Governors that Migrated from PDP:

1. Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State was a PDP Senator.

2. Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State served as FCT minister under the PDP.

3. Governor Aminu Masari of Kastina State was a Former House of Representatives speaker under the PDP.

4. Governor Abubakar Bello of Niger State was a PDP Former Commissioner.

5. Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto was a Former PDP Speaker of the House of Representatives.

6. Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara State was a Commissioner  and Governor under PDP.

7. Governor Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa State was in PDP.

8. Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau state was also in PDP.

9. Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State was in PDP.

10. Governor Samuel Orthom of Benue State was a PDP Minister.

11. Governor Tanko Al-Makura of Nasarawa State was in PDP.

12. Governor Abubakar Bagudu of Kebbi State was a Former PDP Senator.

13. Governor Bindow Jubrilla of Adamawa State was a Former PDP Senator.

14. Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State was in PDP.

Former PDP Governors now in APC:
1. Aliyu Wammako -Sokoto
2. Rabiu Kwankwaso- Kano
3. Sai'du Dakingari -Kebbi
4 , Bukola Saraki - Kwara
5.  Murtal Nyako- Adamawa
6. Rotimi Amaechi -Rivers
7. Temiprye Sylva - Bayelsa
8 . Sullivan Chime- Enugu
9.  Obong Victor Attah- Akwa-Ibom
10. Chris Ngige - Anambra
11. Joshua Dariye -Plateau
12.  George Akume -Benue
13. Adamu Abdullahi - Nasarawa
14. Orji Uzor Kalu- Abia
15. Oserheimen Osunbor- Edo
16. Segun Oni -Ekiti
17. Alao Akala- Oyo
18. Danjuma Goje- Gombe
19. Olagunsoye Oyinlola -Osun
20. Garba Umar- Taraba

Anybody who says PDP members  looted the nation's treasury and are therefore corrupt is distorting the facts and therefore a shameless / barefaced liar, innately corrupt, fraudulent, self-centred, deceptive, wicked, broad day robber, oppressive and has no decency and humanity in them.

Are these the kind of people that should rule a nation?

My Kobo Advice to The “Coalition For Nigeria” - By Dele Momodu

Fellow Nigerians, please permit me to continue with my Presidential race series today. It has become obvious that nothing else, but the lack of competent, visionary, detribalised, selfless, accomplished, exposed, urbane, capable, cerebral, determined and ambitious leadership, has been the root cause of our intractable problems and incredible backwardness especially where national development is concerned. Even the things we used to excel at, like quality education, agriculture and exportable cash crops and more importantly, morality, decency and humaneness have long since eluded us and taken wings into far flung places. Our type of politics, of snatch, grab and grab, can never lead to any substantial progress and development unless we change how we’ve been doing things. All men and women of good conscience in Nigeria are in agreement that our country is in a big mess and that changing the baton of foolishness, recklessness and incompetence every four years, in a relay race of raw cash, brigandage, ethnicity and religion does not augur well for our dear nation. This cannot continue unchecked.

This is not about liking or disliking one President. It is about loving our dear beloved country, Nigeria, more. Our nation has become not only a serious embarrassment to itself but a source of considerable disquiet and discomfort to the African continent. True, however, that this calamity did not befall us under this government. It started when the first military putsch terminated the First Republic. Thereafter, we witnessed successive coup d’etats. Each coup maker advertised himself as coming to salvage and change Nigeria for the better but things got worse in many instances. The Civilian population also played an infamous role in this area by dancing for joy whenever the soon to become familiar refrain of the National Anthem followed by the haunting words “Fellow Nigerians” were announced on the airwaves.. We expected our military rulers to perform many miracles since they wielded the power of life and death but we were not so lucky. The Republic of Ghana was perhaps luckier, by having a no-nonsense leader Flight Lt. Jerry John Rawlings (aka Junior Jesus or Judas, depending on which side you belonged). He came, cleaned the Augean stable, erected a superstructure, improved the infrastructure, instilled discipline, reduced a culture of waste and inculcated a new ethos of doing things with less greed and avarice. Many Ghanaians disagree with this effusive description of Ghana under Rawlings but to onlookers, Ghana came out of that revolution better and stronger than most African States. I know many Nigerians who wistfully longed for some version of JJ Rawlings here but ours were too selfish, egocentric and clannish.

Nigeria has tried many leaders, from sinners to saints, but there is no doubt that none of them has taking us to Eldorado. It has been a tale of “all sound and fury…” but no performance. Two of our former military rulers came back from retirement to become civilian Presidents. General Olusegun Obasanjo, who served from 1976 and retired as Head of State in 1979, bounced back 20 years after, in 1999, and served a total of eight years as civilian President, making him the longest reigning leader in Nigeria’s chequered history, with a combined total of eleven years. I will not bore you with the melodrama of that era. His Vice President from 1999 to 2007 was Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, who started nursing his own Presidential since 1993 when he was eventually out-manoeuvred by the enigmatic and redoubtable Baba Gana Kingibe. The relationship between the Obasanjo and Atiku was that of cat and mouse because the Vice President subsequently wanted to contest himself in 2003.

Around that same 2003, another retired military ruler, Major General Muhammadu Buhari, decided it was his own turn to collect the baton and return to power as civilian President. He had been the Head of State from 1984 to 1985 when he was unceremoniously sacked by Major General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida. His fall attracted unprecedented relief and wild jubilations because of his draconian style and what many saw as the hypocritical and nepotistic disposition of his government. His 2003 attempt was like testing the waters. He was popular in the North but not in the South and the Northern Regions alone could never make him President without substantial votes and electoral spread from some parts of the Southern Regions. He contested and lost to President Olusegun Obasanjo. In 2007, Buhari contested against his kinsman from Katsina State, Alhaji Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, and lost again to him. He complained bitterly that the race was skewed against him and litigation followed in a jiffy but hit the rocks, ultimately. In 2011, Buhari became a serial contestant, throwing his hat into the ring for a third time. However, it was not third time lucky as the results claimed he lost ignominiously to Dr Goodluck Jonathan. He was so disappointed, frustrated and bitter, that he vowed never to contest again. But man proposes and God disposes, the ruling PDP was on a reckless binge of surfeit and megalomania and had to be stopped by all means. Buhari was approached to become the rallying force, in 2015, for all those who wanted PDP out, by fire and by force. Miraculously, he won as the whirlwind of “Change” swept away the rampaging PDP. The expectations of the people in respect of the Buhari Presidency were thus extremely high. The rest is now history.

Nearly three years have passed since Buhari’s triumphant comeback and the next election is already knocking. The general consensus is that the Buhari government has underperformed, even if his hard-core loyalists disagree very vehemently. They point to several salutary achievements in the area of security (particularly with regard to the Boko Haram menace), increased reserves, improved Foreign Direct Investment and an ongoing relatively successful fight against corruption. The Opposition and the generality of the people want more.  They say that things have simply not changed. Instead they have become worse because, there is great fear and tension in the land.  The disunity is there for all to see and corruption and nepotism seems to be the order of the day within government circles.  The seething anger is palpable and it is like the country is a tinderbox, a nation sitting on a primed keg of gunpowder waiting for the fireworks of social disorder and violence to erupt. We continue to pray against such folly, but the government is simply not helping by the macabre dance, with ethnicity and religious jingoism, it seems to be engaged in.

By 2019, Buhari would be 76 years old. He has suffered health challenges. His style of governance has also been rated as too crude and sluggish. Some say he is not a President for 21st Century Nigeria because he lacks the physical and mental resources needed to crossover from the analog era of the 20th century into the digital age of the 21st century. Many of those who wished to support him to the end have become irritated and impatient. They simply cannot understand how the “People’s Messiah” frittered away such humongous goodwill and lost the chance to leave a glittering legacy for our people. His avuncular supporter, former President Obasanjo, has since jumped ship after releasing a most blistering attack in a very scathing open letter made public globally.

I have gone through this long preamble to remind us of why it has become imperative for Nigerians to pay more attention to who leads us henceforth. On my part, I have decided to speak to as many potential Presidents, Vice Presidents, Governors, Senators, House members, State Assembly members, etc, as possible. Four years is a long time to waste on frivolities, in the life of a nation. Never again must we elect people based on primordial sentiments. If President Buhari presents himself again, as it is his Constitutional right to do, he must be subjected to the most rigorous of tests. We must find out why he failed to become the change agent that we desperately wished for. He must know, that it is not sufficient to blame the unbridled corruption that characterised the previous government.  That was enough to deal with lack of progress for one year, possibly even eighteen months, but for two years and counting, Haba! Regardless however, he still has a bit of time to demonstrate what a second term under him will look like, but if truth be told, he is fast running out of that time. His challengers must even face tougher tests. For them we look for physical fitness and mental alertness, freshness, transparency, accountability but above all, vision, innovation, technological savviness and adeptness, leadership and progressive action. We should never base our choice and decision on empty promises but practical roadmaps and blueprints.

There is no doubt that Nigeria is long overdue for a major overhaul, but it is not going to happen overnight. It may not happen in the next four-year sequence, but we must begin the journey in 2019. While the experiment being attempted by the COALITION FOR NIGERIA is desirable, every care must be taken to ensure that this does not make our situation worse. I wish to warn again, and do so repeatedly, that there are presently no saints to form a new Party or, indeed, force. APC would not have materialised if those PDP Governors and big moneybags did not throw their weight behind Buhari. It is gratifying to note that for now, the Coalition is making the right noises and saying that it is a pressure group. Given the fact that the period between now and the next elections is short and is almost upon us. What it seems would be most desirable to see, is members of the Coalition going back to the two main parties and taking over from them. Surely, the generality of the Nigerian public would back such a move by those seen to be a bit more principled than the rogues gallery that has held sway over our political lives for more than 40 years. However, this may not be feasible for now, since money continues to play a big part in politics and the ignorance and impoverishment of our people continues to be an impediment for such a civilian coup at the present moment.

Therefore, the best way to go, for now, is to have a coalition of forces and make them form a government of national unity that would draw its personnel and operatives from the different political Parties, including some of the fringe Parties. Indeed, it was my sincere hope that the configuration of the APC following the merger of the opposition Parties before the 2015 elections would have led to such government.  It is sad that from the very beginning the Party embarked on fratricidal, internecine and suicidal warfare from which it has not since emerged.

In reality, I predict two options. The PDP may implode and dissolve into the old PDP and a new Party, or the coalition may form a third party and draw extensively from APC and PDP. The problem is that not much would have changed. Only the name, and nomenclature, perhaps, would have changed. The same characters would migrate into this potential third Party from both Parties and no one would reject them. It may be, that this is one of the failings of democracy as all views should be accommodated within the respective Parties. The inherent danger is it may help APC remain infallible, despite the fact that it would have been greatly weakened by the exodus of a few good men. The truth is that both principal Parties need to be shaken up.  The Coalition for Nigeria may well offer an avenue for this to happen but we must be vigilant.  We must not enter “One Chance” again! The Coalition must not become like the Trojan Horse, primed to lull us into a false sense of security, when the real motive is to spew its rotten guts into our polity and thus damage us even further. My concern stems largely from those who appear to be the conveners.  I am not overly confident of their credentials to do the task that Nigerians expect of them. We pray and wait with trepidation.

Meanwhile, I plead with the conveners of the Coalition, again, to think through this risky adventure and not set us back several decades.
God bless Nigeria!

Are U looking for a faultless wife? A wife that can't offend U at all? If yes, then no one in this world, but rather in Paradise. Be kind pls
As part of kindness, if the wife asks her husband for allowances for breastfeeding her children from him, then he should try to pay her, Evidence of allowances for breastfeeding. Almighty says: Then if they give suck to the children for U, give them their due payment. Q65:6
The Prophet ص would say, "The best among u is he who is kindest to his wife & I m kindest to my wife". No so-called Feminism can beat this.
As wife, your husband is neither a messenger nor an aide. He deserves ur massive respect for his spending etc. Imagine ur life without him?
The attitude of "I am always right" by both husband & wife, brings about chaos & pandemonium in marital life. No one of U is infallible, pls
Both husband & wife must be convinced that to err is human. They must be ready to serve as a mirror to one another. Accept when corrected.
Wives naturally, like to be praised for, their adornment, marital r/ship & cooking. Always remember to say to her "U are superb & Unique"
Satan tries to be a stakeholder in our marital life. If one spouse is ANGRY, d other must not be ANGRY. Otherwise, Satan has defeated both
Husband & wife should try to be talking to one another with a Smiling Face.It is an act of Ibadah, romantic & could lower stress level. Smile
Marital life is a source of tranquillity & peace. It is also the best pleasure of this world. Married couple should always try to achieve that
RIGHTEOUS! Whomever is blessed with a righteous wife, completed half of his religion, so let him fear Almighty with regard to the other half
Always say to your wife:“If U see me angry, calm me down,& if I see U angry I will calm U down, otherwise we can't live together honourably”
For a successful marriage, married couple are urged to control their tongues, & avoid foul speaking by using them freely against each other
Harsh tongue & aggressive tone will not change ur spouse- wife or husband. Rather, U should use kind & gentle words, which is act of charity
Husband & Wife should try to keep their secret, confidential. It must remain within their boundaries. It should not be exposed to outsiders
The best solution for any marital problem is through ENDURANCE & GENTLENESS. Words & Decisions taken in ANGER & HIGH EMOTIONS are rash & wrong
Unsolicited & unexpected gift strengthens LOVE & MERCY btw married couple.Try to surprise ur wife/husband, from time to time with nice gifts
Married couple should avoid undermining d roles of each other in building the family. The roles of each can't be played by d other effectively
For married couple, there must be moments of happiness & sadness. For happiness both should be grateful, while for sadness, be patient & pray

Should Buahri Re-run for 2019

As a true and patriotic Nigerian, intrinsically I expect different opinions as this bordering on National issues.
But let me tell everybody, we all voted Buhari passionately for track of his record " transparency, integrity, honesty and accountability" during his service to our father Land Nigeria.
I am not a fans of former president, Olusegun Obasanjo but I am absolutely in-line with his postulation and accept his letter as a verdict on the way forward for our dear country.
Aside OBJ 8year in office, he has always been honest and patriotic in addressing any government wrongly steering the country. Remember, Buhari himself discribe OBJ as a stateman with honesty in moving the country forward during campaign 2015.
OBJ letter if well read praised Buhari and consider his performance in fighting Boko As excellent one, advise not to run in 2019 is only in favour of Buhari himself. Who can dispute his sickness is not involve some fellow that I don't  want him to continue but Thank God he survived it. He said himself that he has been locked up in Abuja, tell me how he can know the state of the nation.
Let quickly remind everyone of the fact that if Buahri won another election, all left is for him to pack 2023 but will Nigeria government stop?
I dispute all facts agitating for Buhari re-election base on fact that no one know Fashola and Ambode before Tinubu nominated these fellows with Progressive ambitions.
Uncountable Nigerians are there but not given opportunity to be there.
I want everyone to understand that Nigeria problem is complex, and all what require to solve and move the country forward must be look into.
At this moment, after several years of Independence, we are no where to be found.
Everybody will aggreed with me that the Health of former and late president Yar'adua is a disaster to this Nation.
He lay-down foundation for rule of laws in our democracy system. Many election tribunal against his party enjoyed free and fair verdict without influenced  the process to favour his party like OBJ.
Numbers of Nigerians supporting Buhari is at 40% which includes:
1. Those benefiting from this administration, directly or indirectly
2. Lucky /fortunate ones with Good job
3. Richest.
My analysis before world report indicate that Dangote wealth grow over 100% during recession. It means that the system enrich the richer one but make life harder for poorer ones.
Look, the performance of government is measure by paper but the real Truth is the impact and state of common man in the street suppose be the yardstick.
At the moment, my fellow youths should get prepared for a Big Task ahead of us. Stop supporting anybody, you too can do it and I too can do it and better than expected if we really ready and love this country.
God bless Nigeria.

Prophecy for President Buhari before 2019

DELE MOMODU WRITES ANOTHER OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT BUHARI
The letter in all honest can be categorize as prophecy.

'PLEASE, I BEG YOU...DON'T RUN FOR A SECOND TERM. GO HOME WITH YOUR HONOUR INTACT'

*'THOSE POLITICIANS ASKING YOU TO RUN AGAIN ARE DOING SO FOR SELFISH INTERESTS'

'...Kindly permit me to be as brutally frank as possible. As a stakeholder who made his modest contribution to your emergence as President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, I owe you nothing but the truth. I was not a member of your party when I volunteered to support your mission and ambition in 2015. I was elated when Nigerians succeeded in chasing away the profligate and reckless government of the PDP, led by President Goodluck Jonathan. I was one of those who unleashed terror on that government and I subsequently presented you with a compilation of my articles in which I criticised and advised the then President, free of charge. I never expected that our situation could ever get worse under the APC government that almost literally promised heaven and earth. But it has become evident that it is easier to govern by words of mouth than by force of action.

It is indeed shameful that those like me who supported you so vociferously have become butts of jokes everywhere we go. Sir, I plead with you to ignore your acolytes who may be telling you that all is well in Nigeria. My unequivocal verdict, without any fear of contradiction is that things are VERY BAD. While I will not, in all honesty, totally heap the blame on you, there is no doubt that your government has been LESS THAN COMPETENT. I’m reasonably convinced that you have not availed yourself of the abundant talents it has so pleased God to endow Nigeria with. Rather, you’ve chosen to saddle yourself with hungry lions and deadwoods that you’ve resurrected from penury and oblivion. Leadership should be about managing people and resources. Most of the people you are working with are already retired or tired and with little or nothing new to contribute.

It is grossly unfair that it was very convenient for us to lampoon and scandalise Dr Goodluck Jonathan, yet most of us have remained funereally silent and unreasonably complicit in the evil that the current men of power are perpetrating and perpetuating under your watch. Unknown to you Sir, SOME PEOPLE ARE MERELY USING YOU TO RULE BY PROXY. There is no evidence of discipline in your team, one of the greatest things you preached so fervently about in your first coming as military Head of State. Your acolytes are virtually getting away with murder. Someone, somewhere, sat down with birds of the same feathers, to conjure and compile the most disgraceful list of political appointees ever and yet nothing has happened to those who brought such perfidious insults on our nation. Instead, we are being regaled with tales by the moonlight to gloss over serious maladies in the polity and damning treachery against our nation. No serious apologies. No penitence. Only some foolhardy cockiness from those who will repeat the same nonsense when tomorrow comes.

Your Excellency, it has become very difficult, if not impossible to defend the excessive shortcomings of your government, please, permit my oxymoron Sir. We definitely want you to succeed but it seems some demons are desperately determined to make you fail by all means. The more your administration unravels, the more ridiculously hopeless it seems. You have waltzed from crisis to crisis instead of from glory to glory, as most of us expected. We thought you truly possessed the magic wand and talismanic effect to make all our problems evaporate and vamoose in a jiffy. We did not expect to be regularly mesmerised by IMPOTENT EXCUSES GALORE.

I sincerely doff my hat to your wonderful wife for her rare and uncommon courage. Regardless of what her detractors may say, she is the only insider who has been trying to say it as it is. Even if some of her critics feel she’s seeking for relevance in your kingdom, it is still within her rights. I’m sure that when the day of reckoning comes, you will remember and appreciate her timely warnings. Without mincing words, what Madam Aisha Buhari has been trying to tell you in clear terms is that this government is swimming in a big foul mess and that you should not be carried away by the FAKE ADULATION and FALSE ADORATION you see all around you.  There is no government in Nigeria that did not enjoy the services of praise-singers who disappeared as soon as the government itself collapsed like a pack of cards. Ask President Jonathan!

I’m aware that your foot-soldiers are already warming up for the next election. I really do not know what they hope to tell and sell to the electorate this time, particularly after THE COLOSSAL FAILURE of the last three years. I do not see how they expect to fund your campaign without resorting to the same type of extravagant jamboree we witnessed in the dying and last days of the PDP’s prodigality. As a result of your decision to contest again, you are being forced by circumstances beyond your control to compromise and capitulate on your known principles. Is it not better, and more profitable, to return home, triumphantly, with your reputation intact than to win a pyrrhic victory with everything you ever stood for wasted on the altar of vainglorious aggrandisement? What guarantees do you have that you will win the next election even if you agree to sell Nigeria to the political gladiators?

Sir, I’m pleading with you in the name of God, the Merciful and all-powerful, that you don’t need two terms, or eight years in power, to prove your greatness. Nelson Mandela spent only one term in power and retired to superlative glory as the world’s most respected and revered and idolised statesman. Robert Mugabe spent about four decades in power, yet he returned home in total infamy and unenviable disgrace. It is a lesson of life that we must all learn, sooner rather than later, that man shall not live by power alone. I know my preaching is not likely to touch you and your hardened supporters but, at the very least, I want it to be on record that I spoke publicly, out of genuine love and concern, while you were being goaded on by those who stand to gain more if you win a re-election next year. For most of those asking you to continue, by fire and by force, it is always about THEIR PERSONAL AGENDA AND SURVIVAL. They know their political careers would come to a shuddering halt and abrupt standstill should you fail in your bid to come back. In their DESPERATION to come back at all costs, they are going to do exactly what PDP did, or even much worse. What moral authority would you then have to justify the continued detention and harassment of some of the PDP operatives accused of wasting government resources on Jonathan’s truncated re-election bid? Who amongst us can in good conscience say in the market place that you won the last election on pure merit and that no substantial government funding went into your campaigns?

This year promises to be an interesting one. You will soon discover how treacherous human beings can be when some of those hailing you today as the authentic messiah begin to show you their true colours. Our country is bleeding dangerously while some over-pampered politicians can only think of winning elections by hook or by crook. The quality of your appointees in recent time points to how DIRECTIONLESS  your government has finally become. In a country overflowing with so many amazing brains and talents, it is incredibly shameful that those are your best representatives for our country. The easiest way for a leader to fail is to continue to attract those much worse than himself. Conversely, the best way to succeed is for a leader to recognise and attract and surround himself with those much better in all aspects of human endeavour. This does not erase or take anything away from the leader but it actually enhances his personality and how he is perceived by everyone. The late sage of blessed memory, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, was a veritable example of how a leader can effectively tap into the collective brains of some geniuses and add to his own in a way that makes him appear super-human.

Nigeria has never been in short supply of whiz kids at home and abroad but Nigeria started dying when our leaders stopped respecting merit and preferred to enthrone mediocrity. The truth is mediocrity begets further mediocrity. The few good leaders in your government have not been able to display their wizardry out of fear and trepidation that some cabal would mark them out and hack them down so ruthlessly. It is a sign of the times, that the courage, astuteness and brilliance that made them stand out in the political crowd has suddenly taken flight and they are now little more than wimps in your insipid government. The bureaucracy in Abuja is enough to suffocate and disorientate any fertile mind.

If I were in your shoes, I would consider that it is not too late to groom and propel some of the best brains in APC or even those living beyond the shores of Nigeria to succeed me. You do not need to look far in this regard but I will not make any suggestions today, lest it be misinterpreted that I am touting any particular individual as a worthy successor. I’m reasonably convinced that you have worked very hard and seem to have reached your peak. To God be the glory. In a country of nearly 200 million people, God has been too kind to you. Apart from former President Olusegun Obasanjo, no other Nigerian has been given a second chance so miraculously. You will be able to justify this unmerited favour by leaving Nigeria much better than you met it. The only way you can do that in the next remaining year is to SACRIFICE YOUR OWN PERSONAL AMBITION  and hand over the country to proven and tested modern and cosmopolitan technocrats. The world has moved beyond the backwardness that we are being saddled with in Nigeria today. The world expect us to be the true giant and leader of Africa not by words but in deed.

My appeal to you is to urgently do a self-assessment to determine and decide on whether you are what Nigeria needs at this time and age for our country to join the comity of other nations in their march towards technological advancement, political stability, social security and economic prosperity.

With all due respect, Sir, if your answer is yes to the above, you may go ahead and contest but if in all honesty, the answer is no, my prayer is that you will find the courage and selfless spirit to quit the stage while the ovation is loudest. That in itself would be a deserving legacy. I’m watching and waiting for your patriotic decision with bated breath.

Thank you, Mr President, for your usual attention and kind consideration of my latest memo to you, albeit so early in the year.'

Fellow Nigerians see
In those days when PDP destroyed the economy for 16 years, a bag of rice was N7500 and a litre of petrol was N87.
A dollar was N170.
A 'Bajaj' motorcycle was N82,000

....... ....... .......
Thank God for our APC Messiahs that have come to revive the economy;

A dollar is N368!!!
A 'Bajaj' motorcycle is now N280,000

Years Time, See Dramatic Changes in The World

In a recent interview the MD of Daimler Benz (Mercedes Benz) said their competitors are no longer other car companies but Tesla (obvious), Google, Apple, Amazon .

Software will disrupt most traditional industries in the next 5-10 years.

Uber is just a software tool, they don't own any cars, and are now the biggest taxi company in the world

Airbnb is now the biggest hotel company in the world, although they don't own any properties.

Artificial Intelligence: Computers become exponentially better in understanding the world. This year, a computer beat the best Go player in the world,  10 years earlier than expected.

In the US, young lawyers already don't get jobs. Because of IBM Watson, you can get legal advice (so far for more or less basic stuff) within seconds, with 90% accuracy compared with 70% accuracy when done by humans.

So if you study law, stop immediately. There will be 90% less lawyers in the future, only specialists will remain.

Watson already helps nurses diagnosing cancer, 4 times more accurate than human nurses. Facebook now has a pattern recognition software that can recognize faces better than humans. In 2030, computers will become more intelligent than humans.

Autonomous cars: In 2018 the first self driving cars will appear for the public. Around 2020, the complete industry will start to be disrupted. You  don't want to own a car anymore. You will call a car with your phone, it will show up at your location and drive you to your destination. You will not need to park it, you only pay for the driven distance and can be productive while driving. Our kids will  never get a driver's licence and will never own a car.

It will change the cities, because we will need 90-95% less cars for that. We can transform former parking spaces into parks. 1.2 million people die  each year in car accidents worldwide. We now have one accident every 60,000 miles (100,000 km), with autonomous driving that will drop to one accident in 6 million miles (10 million km). That will save a million lives each year.

Most car companies will probably become bankrupt. Traditional car companies try the evolutionary approach and just build a better car, while tech companies (Tesla, Apple, Google) will do the revolutionary approach and build a computer on wheels.

Many engineers from Volkswagen and Audi; are completely terrified of Tesla.

Insurance companies will have massive trouble because without accidents, the insurance will become 100x cheaper. Their car insurance business model  will disappear.

Real estate will change. Because if you can work while you commute, people will move further away to live in a more beautiful neighborhood.

Electric cars will become mainstream about 2020. Cities will be less noisy because all new cars will run on electricity. Electricity will become incredibly cheap and clean: Solar production has been on an exponential curve for 30 years, but you can now see the burgeoning impact.

Last year, more solar energy was installed worldwide than fossil. Energy companies are desperately trying to limit access to the grid to prevent competition from home solar installations, but that can't last. Technology will take care of that strategy.

With cheap electricity comes cheap and abundant water. Desalination of salt water now only needs 2kWh per cubic meter (@ 0.25 cents). We don't have  scarce water in most places, we only have scarce drinking water. Imagine what will be possible if anyone can have as much clean water as he wants, for nearly no cost.

Health:    The Tricorder X price will be announced this year. There are companies who will build a medical device (called the "Tricorder" from Star Trek)  that works with your phone, which takes your retina scan, your blood sample and you breath into it.

It then analyses 54 biomarkers that will identify nearly any disease. It will be cheap, so in a few years everyone on this planet will have access to world class medical analysis, nearly for free. Goodbye, medical establishment.

3D printing: The price of the cheapest 3D printer came down from $18,000 to $400 within 10 years. In the same time, it became 100 times faster. All  major shoe companies have already started 3D printing shoes.

Some spare airplane parts are already 3D printed in remote airports. The space station now has a printer that eliminates the need for the large amount of spare parts they used to have in the past.

At the end of this year, new smart phones will have 3D scanning possibilities.    You can then 3D scan your feet and print your perfect shoe at home.

In China, they already 3D printed and built a complete 6-storey office building.    By 2027, 10% of everything that's being produced will be 3D printed.

Business opportunities: If you think of a niche you want to go in, ask yourself: "in the future, do you think we will have that?" and if the answer  is yes, how can you make that happen sooner?

If it doesn't work with your phone, forget the idea. And any idea designed for success in the 20th century is doomed to failure in the 21st century.

Work:  70-80% of jobs will disappear in the next 20 years. There will be a lot of new jobs, but it is not clear if there will be enough new jobs in such a small time.

Agriculture:   There will be a $100 agricultural robot in the future. Farmers in 3rd world countries can then become managers of their field instead of working all day on their fields.

Aeroponics will need much less water. The first Petri dish produced veal, is now available and will be cheaper than cow produced veal in 2018. Right now, 30% of all agricultural surfaces is used for cows. Imagine if we don't need that space anymore. There are several startups who will bring insect protein to the market shortly. It contains more protein than meat. It will be labelled as "alternative protein source" (because most people still reject the idea of eating insects).

There is an app called "moodies" which can already tell in which mood you're in.  By 2020 there will be apps that can tell by your facial expressions, if you are lying. Imagine a political debate where it's being displayed when they're telling the truth and when they're not.

Bitcoin may even become the default reserve currency ... Of the world!

Longevity:  Right now, the average life span increases by 3 months per year. Four years ago, the life span used to be 79 years, now it's 80 years. The increase itself is increasing and by 2036, there will be more than one year increase per year. So we all might live for a long long time, probably way more than 100.

Education:  The cheapest smart phones are already at $10 in Africa and Asia. By 2020, 70% of all humans will own a smart phone. That means, everyone  has the same access to world class education.

Every child can use Khan academy for everything a child needs to learn at school in First World countries. There have already been releases of software in Indonesia and soon there will be releases in Arabic, Suaheli and Chinese this summer. I can see enormous potential if we give the English app for free, so that children in Africa and everywhere else can become fluent in English and that could happen within half a year.

Campus Life, The Bitter Truth

In almost every tertiary institution in Nigeria, you find ‘undergraduate couples’ living as husbands and wives. You find a lot of these misguided people in virtually all schools. It is so bad that, often times, they are duly recognised and acknowledged as couples by lodge, neighbours, classmates and even leaders of various students associations. Little wonder there is such an award as “The Best Couple of the Year Award” shamelessly and thoughtlessly received by students... Like I said earlier, I really do not know the particular gender to address but let me just keep typing.

The rate at which girls live with their boyfriends in their various off campus hostels is painfully alarming.
Most times, these young girls are very beautiful, with bright and promising future. They cohabit with boys who are their fellow students as roommates. The lugubrious part of it is that the silly girl would always introduce the small boy as her fiancé... Our society is really sick courtesy of those that live in it. These girls collect either hostel fees or house rents from unsuspecting (and sometimes, struggling) parents and end up in the house of a boy.

You struggled possibly for several years to gain admission. Then you suddenly became a prayer warrior posting and shouting ‘Ameen’ at the slighted provocation. You fasted. You had one prayer point filled with promises of your loyalty and devotion to God if only He would answer your prayer. Now that He has fulfilled His part by answering and granting you admission, do not you think He is expecting you to fulfill your own part, to keep whatever promises you made to Him???.

Many of you just got admission and once you settle down (especially from your second year),  crazy thoughts will begin to creep into your minds. Yes by then, the heat of the rush would have been over; If God did not capture you (possibly through the various campus religious associations or societies), boys would have caught you. In my school we even have an unrecognised, unregistered but well offered course (Moz101. moz, being the short form for Mozambique hall, were fresh female students are accommodated). For the guys its a course that shouldn't be carried over.

Soon, they would persuade you to move in with them. Of course, they would give you one thousand reasons to make you give in to their prodding... Before you agree to move in and live with a boy on campus, consider the reason why you are in school in the first place. What image would you be creating about yourself?

Can this boy marry you in case you get pregnant for him as is always the case, or will you resort to series of abortions like many other girls before you?

What advice will you give your children in future concerning this kind of things? After school, what next?

Will the relationship really lead you anywhere?.

This post is finally addressing the female folks. I did not plan it that way. Maybe it isbecause they are the worst hit by the grave consequences of illicit sexual relationships. They are the ones that turn out to be the sore losers in the end.

They call it school life but they don’t realise how idiotic they have been till it’s too late. You are not in school to get married. Part of the reasons why you are in school IS NOT to get the husband-and-wife experience, to see what it feels like for the boy to provide the money for food and for the girl to go to the market for food stuffs and cook. That is pure misplacement of purpose!

One guy told me that he was practically learning how to be a caring and romantic husband. Such shameless! Then you hear the girl say, “We are not doing anything, we are just roommates”. Yet she commits countless abortions before graduation... Yes, your admission has given you unlimited freedom. Yes, your parents are not there to tell you what to do or what not to do. There is even no blood relation around, so there is no fear of someone reporting you. But what about giving your womanhood respect and protecting your dignity?

What about living in such a way as to have a positive story to tell the next generation (including your children) without your conscience pricking you?

What Goes Around Will Definitely Come Around...

Why not exercise a moment of thorough thinking...

May God have mercy on our wives to be and our children to come... What a generation!

Who is now the Anti-Tertiary Institution, the writer or the students with misplacement of purpose?

BEST AGE TO MARRY! READ

DEAR YOUNG GUYS AT THE AGE OF 22 TO 28
Don't make mistakes some of our Fathers made.
Marry now with the little you have. Don't wait to
be a millionaire, Have kids early so you can grow
with them. Grow with your kids and succeed with
your wife. You will never finish making money or
achieving your plans. You might still not succeed
at your target year. So start your life early, with
consistency you will grow.
My Uncle said this to me: _When i was 22, i was
talking about making billions before i marry.
Many years later, billions didn't come, yet no kid
no wife... I had an opportunity to marry the love
of my life very early, But my fear was, can i
really take care of her? She's married now with
two grown up children. The guy that married her
was still schooling then, but had the courage.
They worked hard and succeeded together. I
failed, so please if you can feed yourself, you can
feed your wife. You have to believe it, marry
early, don't wait. Don't make our mistakes, I see
my childhood friends play with their kids.. Most
of them are not doing as well as me.. But they
are happier..
Trust me it isn't money only, but Rather your
happiness depends entirely on your wisdom. With
a well planned life they are happier.. Trust me it
isn't money, What is our problem? Build mansion,
buy Rolls Royce, marry Sharon stone type, but
Still we don't have those things we dreamt of,
and of course the years we wasted, we can
never have them neverrrr!!!_
Please don't be 60yrs old and your kids will still
be in their 20's..What are you supposed to be at
that age? Their grand father.
Please young men, take my advice seriously.
Marry, don't be afraid, that girl you are finding
fault in has many good qualities if you look well.
Don't think you will get every thing before you
settle down. God can change your life in a blink,
with a good wife by your side, you will succeed
by God grace.... *Ladies, please pass this across to
Ur fiancé* *Guys Av a re-think and tell other guys
about it too... And consider this advice*°°

marriage_ .....as *copied*

WHY PEOPLE ARE IRRATIONAL ABOUT POLITICS.

Nothing is best describe the puzzling and retrogressing political arguments that most people are into nowadays than synthetic madness and rational irrationality.

The bugaboo of political irrationality is the greatest sociaI problem humanity faces. It is greater than crime, Cultism, drug addiction, or even world poverty, because it is a problem that prevents us from solving other problems .

It's never a crime to see things differently but it's a great crime to think any opinion or view that go against yours must be condemn without checking its authenticity and objectivity.

We don't just criticise or support the government without fact. Subjective criticism and prejudice support for government and politicians are both dangerous to the development of our dear state and country, they are birds of a feather that flogs in a wrong direction.

Some people have reduced themselves to e-rats that can't speak on their own, can't think and present their opinions on issues, no meaningful contribution on sensible and developmental posts that go against their principals than to be raining curses and abusive words on others. I pity your conditions.

Some people are blind critics, their condition is also worse. They don't just see negative about the government or politicians they detest, they also see those that are not blind like them as enemies. They are your friends today  if you say something aligned to their preconceived believe and your enemies tomorrow if you say something contrary.

Social media, especially Facebook and twitter are not just there to catch fun, but also to solve social problems. It's not all about how many people comment, not how many likes to my post but all about the messages we pass to the public.

It's a great disappointment to see stupidity where wisdom is expected and callowness where maturity is needed. Most of the so called educated ones supporting the government and renowned politicians are big disappointment. All the cacophony noise of "He is my leader, he is my choice, he is my blood" without convincing points are useless. Let us see why we must follow him, let see his beauty by pointing out he antecedents that makes him who you are portraying him to be, instead of  displaying your Imaturity in public.

All the calumny comments and Posts must also stop. "He is a thief, criminal, usurper, oppressor" without giving us fact are also irrational, we need to be rational in our approach to issue. We need not to see things the way our emotions colored them but the way they are.

For those who are getting into Facebook fights, Twitter wars, Instagram arguments, and Snapchat squabbles. What begins as an ideological dispute ends in bitterness. People are provoking others, demanding those who do or don’t support their candidate leave their networks, cutting ties with friends and family, and all because of political differences.I want to tell you today that it doesn't worth it, let all embrace peace and bow to superior arguments all for the betterment of our state but not our pockets.

May God help us the truth to know and guide our leaders right.

No Condition is Permanent, Life is too Dynamic

Share by foluke Akosile:
In 2010 I was a senior manager in a nice firm, my future was bright in the company and I was highly recommended for head of my department. There was a rising star as well, his name is Jacob. I tutored him and tried to manage his excesses because he was exceptionally brilliant. But, he was lazy and carefree. Hardly would he take corrections and rarely would he apologise.

My other colleagues wondered what I saw in him, but they weren’t working directly with him. I knew his type: he hated structure and would never last under a corporate environment. Still, he was a brilliant strategist. I handled him well and our results together with others on my team was highly commendable.

There came a time I was having marital issues and for this reason, I had little patience with Jacob and his shenanigans. I was short-tempered with him but he had gotten used to me managing his excesses, he didn’t take my anger seriously. In two weeks, I had given him 3 queries. This meant dismissal and when I was asked by HR if I truly wanted to let him go, I could not care less. I had my own problems and was not in the mood to babysit anyone.

Three years later, I lost my job because the company was downsizing and top management was affected. I foolishly assumed I would get a job anywhere so initially, I wasn’t worried. But 12 months in, I was still searching and my savings was dwindling fast. I decided, since I wasn’t getting any job, I’d drive my SUV as a cab to those commuting from the airport. This was better than waiting around for nothing…

The cab job surprisingly was not doing badly as I was picking up and dropping off esteemed clients. It wasn’t a lot of money but it was steady.

In July 2016, an esteemed client asked me to pick up his friend from the airport because his driver had flaked on him. This person I was to pick up would turn out to be Jacob. When he called to confirm his location, I instantly recognised his voice. My heart plunged but I wasn’t going to reject the job and disappoint a long-term client. Jacob exited the airport with only a hand luggage so there was no need for me to alight from the car. As he got in the car, I looked back from the driver’s seat to greet him but he was distracted on the phone and never looked up to notice me. He only answered my greeting and asked me to get going

As I drove him all the way to a hotel on the Island, I had tears in my eyes. He looked like he was doing well, his conversations on the phone also showed that he was in control. Jacob had done well for himself and I was now driving him. Life is tricky and has a way of making you the butt of its joke. I cannot lie that I was ashamed but I would never forgive myself if I let him go without letting him know I was proud of him.

We got to the hotel and I quickly got down from the car to open his door. This was when he noticed me. He was speechless for a while then he said in Yoruba “Oga you have been the one driving me since?” He was shocked at first but then he hugged me tight. The tears finally poured, I can’t really say what I felt but I know I expect his reaction.

“I heard you were let go, I sent you a message on my other number to find out how you were but you never responded”He said while still holding on to my shoulders

I remember receiving a message from him but he was one out of many that called or texted to pity me. I didn’t want anyone’s pity so I never responded.

Jacob made me park my car and took me in to his room to talk. He immediately told me about his new gig. After he was laid off, he got a consultation deal with a multinational which opened doors for him in other multinationals. Now, he has 15 people working for him but he was in desperate need of someone who does the same as him and he didn’t have to worry about their competence. He just wanted to focus more on bringing business to the company.

My life changed that day. I resumed work with Jacob in one week and I have made sure since then to treat his company as if it were mine.

I don’t know why he treated me so nicely after what I did to him but as men, we have never talked about it. I am sure though, that he can feel my gratitude in the way I work and my zeal in doing all I can to make sure he doesn’t have to worry about the back-end.

I hope someone learns from this. lf the world turns upside down, you may end up cleaning for your cleaner. Please always remember this when you act without consideration of the other person’s future.

SUPERIORITY BETWEEN THE ALAAFIN AND THE OONI; FACT OF THE MATTER

First of all, I am immensely grateful to the two most prominent royal fathers Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamide Adeyemi III and Ooni of Ife, Oba Ogunwusi for their display of maturity and bringing together the whole Yoruba race again. I say to both revered fathers, KABIYEESI O!!! (As usual, with my chest flat on the floor). Both of them are great kings of Yoruba land and none should ever be disparaged!.

That being said, we need to clear the air on this superiority issue being bandied around by a lot of people without the sense of history. Some say The Alaafin is the supreme-most king in Yoruba land, while others say it is the Ooni. I would try to give an abridged version of the history of the two and let you, the reader make your own decision.

So, it is an agreed fact that the progenitor of the Yoruba race is Oduduwa. Fact undisputed! It also known that Oduduwa had only one child, Okanbi. Fact Unchallenged! Furthermore, It is universally agreed that Okanbi had seven children, Fact Uncontroverted! 5 boys and 2 girls. His first-born was a princess who married his chief priest (the Onirisa) and the first male child of that union became the Olowu of Owu. The second child was also a princess, who became the mother of the Alaketu, the progenitor of the Ketu people (how these two boys [Olowu and Alaketu] who were children of princesses became kings is a story for another time). The third, a prince, became king of the Benin people. The fourth, Orangun, became the king of Ila. The fifth, the Onisabe (king of the Sabes [In Benin republic]). The sixth, Olupopo (king of the popos [Also in Benin Republic]). And the last prince was Oranmiyan. All these princes became Kings who wore crowns as distinguished from vassals who did not dare wear crowns but used coronets called Akoro.

Where the argument starts is with Oranmiyan. Infact, the benin people have their own arguments too with Oranmiyan but that is a story for another day. As you would have noticed from the geanealogy, the first of the Okanbi princes is the King of Benin and people have wondered why he is not said to be the most important Yoruba king. The issue is that, it is the first prince born AFTER ascension to the throne that is the crowned prince, irrespective of the existence of an elder brother.

Oranmiyan was the only son born after Okanbi ascended the throne, therefore, Oranmiyan became the crowned prince. None of his brothers contested this with him. Oranmiyan was a hunter/warrior, so he was given to expedition. After he became king in Ife (please note that up till Oranmiyan, no Ife king used the title Ooni), Oranmiyan decided to expand his territories and so he set forth with some of his men to “enlarge his coast”.

From the days of Oduduwa, the king always had a chief priest who performs the daily worship of the gods of Yoruba land, the title of the priest was Oonirisa (a compressed form of Olorisha) which means the custodian of the gods. The chief priest was never from the royal family! They never had any royal blood in them. Just like in the Bible where you have the kings and the priests. (This lends credence to the fact that the yorubas must have migrated from Egypt and not Mecca. Again, this is a story for another day).

Up till this very day, ALL the gods in Ife must be worshipped DAILY, so Oranmiyan, during his days, was not going to risk the gods not being worshipped because he wanted to go expand his coast. As a matter of fact, he required the assistance of the gods to make his mission successful. In view of this, he didn’t go on his sojourn with the chief priest, he left him at home to worship the gods and be the one to give guidance to the populace he left in Ife. Oranmiyan went ahead to establish the great Oyo empire from the bank of river Niger all the way to the tip of Popo town in the now Benin Republic. The Ooni was left as the leader of the Ife people by Oranmiyan, while Oranmiyan himself remained as Alaafin of Oyo empire. Whenever the Ooni required direction on crucial matters of state, he sent messages to the Alaafin who gave INSTRUCTIONS on what to be done. As time went on, the sons of the chief priests (Oonis) started taking leadership after the demise of their fathers and they also started being kings, but they all deferred to the Alaafins in Oyo from generation to generation. As a matter of fact, there was NEVER any Ooni who challenged the authority or the superiority of the Alaafin before the immediate past Ooni, Oba Sijuade who recently ascended to the realm of the spirits. But always, the Alaafins give special recognition to two kings. One, anyone who is an Ooni, because he sits on the stool sat on by Oduduwa. Secondly, anyone who is an Oba of Benin, because he is the eldest brother. But respect and recognition does not mean we don’t know who actually owns the authority.

This is the reason why ONLY the Alaafin can give a title that cuts across all Yoruba lands. All other kings can only give a title for their lands. E.g, the king of Owu can only bestow on you the title of Balogun of OWU KINGDOM, while Alaafin can bestow on you the title of Are Ona Kakanfo of YORUBA LAND.

The prominence of the kings who are Oduduwa’s grandsons come into perspective when you hear of the story of the current Oba of benin’s visit to the Ooni. When the Oba of benin visited the Ooni Sijuade and the Ooni welcomed the Oba of benin by saying “welcome my son”, the Oba of Benin, Oba Omo N’oba, gave the response to Ooni Sijuade by saying “The father can’t be the son” and they both laughed about it. But the Oba of benin indeed passed a message there.

I would like to close by giving two analogies. Very few people know that the Headquarters of the Redeemed Christian church of God is not the one along Lagos-Ibadan express way, the headquarters is in Yaba in Lagos state. Now, there is a pastor in charge of the headquarters of the church but Pastor Adeboye stays at the Redeemed camp. Does this fact make the pastor at the headquarters greater than Pastor Adeboye?
If I am the Only son of my father, and my father marries a wife after the demise of my mother, In African culture, if my father dies, who has the authority to control the home and decide how the inheritance would be shared, Me or my father’s wife? But one thing is certain, no matter what a heir does, he still has to always give respect to his father’s widow. This does not mean the widow would not know who has the ultimate authority.
Now you know the history, now you can decide who the greater king is.
Ooni Ogunwusi, may your reign be peaceful and may your days be long. Alaafin Adeyemi, may your wisdom guide the Yoruba race aright and may your days not end in shame. To both of you my fathers, again I say KABIYEESI o (Now rolling to the right and rolling to the left while still postrating flat on my chest)...
